My name is Micah Iverson, I am the owner of Wild Fox Painting. My wife and I have been married since 2006 and have two nearly teenage boys. We moved back to Colorado (from Minneapolis MN) in 2016 and have loved meeting new people from the community.
I started painting way back when I was a kid, first painting for my father who is a retired carpenter and then I went on to paint for a professional painter in Iowa and continued painting off and on for years after that.
I went to school for web design and development, photography and then I finally studied 3D Animation at CU Denver. After working for many years as a freelance and full-time designer, I switched gears and decided to start Wild Fox Painting.
Wild Fox Painting was started on September 11th 2018 by Micah Iverson. Micah was looking for a change from the web design industry and house painting fit well with his previous work experiences in painting and it was a good new direction.
Interior painting requires a level of detail and precision that many in the community were not getting when they would hire painting companies. Micah saw an opportunity to come in and provide precision, detail and customer service that so many in the community were seeking. The rest is history.

Wild Fox Painting has 5 key Values we aim for…
- Reliability
- Precision
- Cleanliness
- Confidence
- Communication
These 5 values create: “Peace of Mind” for our customers.
Wild Fox Painting is 100% focused on interior painting jobs, this helps us refine our processes and techniques to provide a level of experience that many exterior painters can't deliver.
We have a consistent team of painters that work on job to job, many other painting companies hire sub-contractors which means you never know who you will get.
Lastly, we are one of the few painting companies in the area with a warehouse and dedicated paint booth for painting kitchen cabinet doors and other things like furniture. Many other painters will often paint in your garage or their own garage which is an uncontrolled environment and hassle for all involved. Our team has a dedicated place to properly prep and paint and we think this is highly important for high quality work.
Our favorite type of jobs are those where a customer is moving out of their house or just purchased a home and is looking to paint prior to moving in. We really enjoy helping people spruce up their house to sell and on the flip side we love painting so that a new homeowner moves into a house with colors they love.
We are also looking to grow our kitchen cabinet painting service this next year, it is rewarding to help a customer take old beat up cabinets and refinish them to feel new and clean again.
Nearly every person is a good referral partner for us, however, here are a few specific partners we partner with frequently...
- Realtors
- General Contractors
- Flooring Installers
- House Cleaners
- And even other Painting Companies
Ultimately, we love talking to anyone and everyone and would love to setup 1-to-1's with anyone interested in connecting.
Starting Wild Fox Painting has been one of the best decisions I have made, we get to transform an often dirty, dark house into a clean and welcoming home in just a few days. The amount of things I have learned about business, people and painting has been incredible. I have found new friends and unexpected opportunities simply through running a painting business.
Running any type of business is exhausting and stressful, painting is no different. Finding high quality, trustworthy and responsible team members can be very difficult and slow process. As a small company, trying to juggle estimates, client meetings, project tasks, painting and so much more is overwhelming, but worth the effort.
